Vintage Wedgwood "D'Ye Ken John Peel" Fox Hunt Relief Pitcher

Celebrate one of Wedgwood's most beloved country sporting designs with this charming vintage "D'Ye Ken John Peel" relief pitcher, made in England. Featuring richly detailed raised scenes of mounted fox hunters, hounds in pursuit, woodland landscapes, and a distinctive hound-form handle, this impressive pitcher captures the spirit of the traditional English fox hunt. The molded relief decoration is beautifully hand-colored with vibrant greens, browns, reds, and yellows, creating a lively three-dimensional presentation from every angle.

The pattern takes its name from the famous nineteenth-century hunting song "D'Ye Ken John Peel," honoring the legendary Cumbrian huntsman John Peel. Wedgwood produced this decorative relief ware in the mid-twentieth century, and it remains highly collectible among enthusiasts of English country house décor, sporting art, and traditional Wedgwood ceramics.
