An exceptional antique Wedgwood dark cobalt blue Jasperware syrup pitcher featuring finely detailed white neoclassical relief decoration and its original hinged pewter lid. The body is adorned with classical figures, cherubs, floral motifs, and grapevine garlands rendered in crisp relief against the rich cobalt blue ground, a hallmark of Wedgwood's celebrated Jasperware production.

This scarce Victorian-era example bears impressed Wedgwood markings and date codes that indicate production circa 1867. The absence of a country designation is consistent with pieces produced before the McKinley Tariff Act of 1891, adding further historical significance for collectors of early Wedgwood Jasperware.
