This elegant set of seven vintage Rock Sharpe cordial glasses features the desirable Halifax gray-cut floral pattern on the classic 3005 faceted stem. The delicate wheel-engraved floral decoration combined with the architectural stem creates a refined example of American Elegant Glass from the mid-twentieth century.

Rock Sharpe was known primarily as a decorating and marketing company rather than a glass manufacturer. The company purchased high-quality crystal "blanks" from leading American glasshouses, including Libbey and other domestic manufacturers, then enhanced them with expertly engraved, etched, or cut designs before selling them under the Rock Sharpe name. This approach allowed Rock Sharpe to offer an extensive catalog of coordinated stemware and table settings that became popular wedding gifts and fine dining pieces during the 1940s and 1950s. Following Libbey's acquisition of Rock Sharpe in 1947, production continued under the combined operation while retaining many of the established patterns.

These petite cordial glasses are ideal for serving liqueurs, aperitifs, ports, or dessert wines and also make an attractive display for collectors of Elegant Glass.

Condition
All seven glasses are in very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs were observed. The crystal remains bright and clear, with only light signs of age and careful use consistent with vintage Elegant Glass.
