This antique carnival glass tumbler was produced by H. Northwood & Co., Wheeling, West Virginia during the golden age of carnival glass. It features the highly collectible Peacock at the Fountain pattern, showcasing elegant peacocks, fountains, flowering trees, and landscaped garden elements in remarkable relief. Crafted in Cobalt Blue Carnival glass, the tumbler displays brilliant iridescence with vivid gold, violet, aqua, and green highlights over a rich cobalt blue body, making it an outstanding example of Northwood's artistry.
The Peacock at the Fountain pattern was introduced around 1911 and remains one of Northwood's most admired figural carnival glass designs, prized for its intricate detail and exceptional iridescent finish.
