Harmony Kingdom Turdus Felidae TJBR Treasure Jest Cat Robin Archive 1999

Peter Calvesbert’s Turdus Felidae TJBR brings together a robin, a cat and two remarkably unfortunate mice in classic Harmony Kingdom fashion. A robin sits atop the cat while clutching a mouse in its wings, while the cat below has captured a mouse of its own.

Carved in 1999, Turdus Felidae was created as the companion piece to Caw of the Wild and honors Harmony Kingdom collectors Rob and Jay. Even the lid joins the joke, incorporating Rob and Jay’s email address so collectors could respond to their familiar question, “Got any rumours?”

The piece was produced in England in an edition of 13,822 and remained in production until its retirement in April 2004.

The Two Interior Versions

Two documented versions of Turdus Felidae were produced.

Version I contains the inscription “To Jay.”

The later Infinity Version replaces that inscription with two robin eggs and a ball of yarn.

Our Archive inventory contains 15 examples: 13 Version I and just 2 Infinity examples.

We are not creating separate Shopify variants for these two interiors. Version I examples will be fulfilled first. Once those 13 examples have sold, the final two available examples will be the Infinity Version. (Unleess you want an Infinity Version - just ask.)

From the Harmony Kingdom Archives

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Turdus Felidae. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK134.

Our physical Archive inventory contains 15 examples of TJBR, including 13 Version I pieces and two Infinity examples.

These pieces remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
