Harmony Kingdom The Great Escape TJBP Peter Calvesbert Treasure Jest Archive

The Great Escape, created by Peter Calvesbert, is a Small Treasure Jest. Three caged parrots plot their escape while Peter Calvesbert's signature mouse unwittingly distracts onlookers. Peter had always wanted a parrot, though his cockatiel Spike—once free to roam the house before the arrival of Peter's cat Algy—apparently disagreed.

The dismembered fingers joke about the consequences of trying to pet a parrot. Version 1 contains a file and more fingers, while the Infinity Version contains a book titled “The Great Escape.”

Carved in 1999, The Great Escape was made in England and released June 1, 1999. It retired March 25, 2005. It was issued as a retired with an edition size of 13,854.
