Harmony Kingdom The Great Escape II Lobsters TJLO Version 1 Peter Calvesbert Archive

Three Maine lobsters have had enough of the boiling pot in The Great Escape II. Reddened from the heat, they burst through the displaced lid with claws and antennae waving, while Peter Calvesbert’s signature mouse takes cover beneath one lobster’s bulging eye.

This Archive example is the Version 1 design. Opening the box reveals Peter himself and his rubber duck swirling in a whirlpool, with a fin ominously circling nearby. The later Infinity version changed the interior to what Calvesbert jokingly called “Lobster and Finger Soup,” making the Version 1 interior an especially useful identifier.

Carved in 2000 and released June 1, 2000, The Great Escape II was made in England. It was retired October 5, 2009 with an edition size of 7,945.
