Harmony Kingdom Tea For Two Walrus TJLWA Calvesbert Large Treasure Jest Archive

Tea For Two, created by Peter Calvesbert, is a Large Treasure Jest whose subject and details place it within Harmony Kingdom's distinctive tradition of narrative box figurines. This walrus box figurine is a very early Peter Calvesbert piece and predates the hidden mouse, inner carving and hallmarks that became familiar features of later Treasure Jests.

Some examples carry “ZOE” beneath a fin, a reference to a girlfriend from Peter's younger days and one of the personal inscriptions collectors encounter in his work.

Carved in 1991, Tea For Two was made in England and released March 1, 1991. It retired April 1, 1999. It is a retired Large Treasure Jest with an edition size of 6,772.
