Harmony Kingdom Slow Dance Solid Body XXYCLT Turtles Peter Calvesbert Archive

Slow Dance Solid Body, created by Peter Calvesbert, is the solid-bodied Clair de Lune Convention event piece inspired by a snapping turtle Peter saw shortly before his carving demonstration. It is not a traditional box.

The turtles wear Roaring Twenties attire for the convention theme, with room key 664, Peter's signature mouse and competition numbers 1 and 22. This solid figurine was made available to Clair de Lune Convention attendees only.

Carved in 2000, Slow Dance Solid Body was made in England and released August 1, 2000. It retired November 1, 2000 as an Event Edition of 715.

From the Harmony Kingdom Archives

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Slow Dance Solid Body. It comes directly from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK134.

The Archive group includes one example being offered by AtopTheTables. This piece remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
