Harmony Kingdom Shiva TJHDBU LE 500 Hindu Deity Ann Richmond Archive

Ann Richmond filled Shiva with imagery associated with the Hindu deity as a bringer of calm and peace and a master over destructive forces. The flowing Ganges appears in Shiva's plaited hair, the crescent moon signifies renewal, and the serpent at his neck represents mastery over spiritual forces and death. His four arms carry symbols including the trident of will, action and knowledge, a kamandalu of nectar and a disc representing the endless wheel of time.

Shiva sits on a tiger skin draped over his faithful bull Nandi, while the interior reveals a half-open Third Eye symbolizing spiritual awakening and the destruction of evil. Richmond added several personal secrets: “08/05/06” and “Kula” beneath Nandi's leg recall a Kula Shaker performance, another inscription carries a birthday wish for her friend Rita, and her recurring hare Rufus peeks from Nandi's collar.

Carved in 2006 and released June 26, 2006, Shiva was made in England as a particularly small Fixed Edition of just 500 pieces. It reached stores September 1, 2006 as part of the Small Treasure Jest subset.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Shiva. It comes directly from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK57.

It is one of the 13 Archive examples of TJHDBU acquired by AtopTheTables. This piece remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
