Seaside Rendezvous, created by Peter Calvesbert, this Small Treasure Jest follows three newly hatched green sea turtles swimming away from the beach.
A turtle-soup can represents one of their hazards; inscriptions reference Peter's son Sam, the carving-completion date and Spring, Texas. The mouse hides beneath a flipper; Version One contains a hatching turtle while Version Two shows the vacated egg up for sale.
Carved in 2002, Seaside Rendezvous was made in England and released October 22, 2002. It was issued as a Fixed Edition size of 5,000.
