The Collector’s Story
Peter’s familiar tin can appears among the fish, while his mouse swims alongside his aquatic friends. The sculpture has no inner carving or inscription.
Carved in 1993 and released September 1, 1993, School’s Out was retired April 1, 1999, after an edition of 33,230. Additional rocks were added to thicken the base in October 1994; the example offered here has that later base.
