Harmony Kingdom Sarasvati Hindu Deity TJHDSW LE 500 Ann Richmond Archive

Ann Richmond's Sarasvati portrays the Hindu goddess of art and learning, consort of Lord Brahma and a figure traditionally associated with knowledge, language and creative endeavor. Seated on a white swan above a giant lotus blossom, Sarasvati's four arms represent different aspects of learning: she holds a book, plays the veena, carries a bead necklace and raises a lotus flower to her cheek.

Inside are a clutch of swan eggs, a lone cygnet and a copy of The Ugly Duckling. Richmond added two more secrets: “T-Rex 4 Ever,” recalling Marc Bolan and T. Rex's “Ride a White Swan,” and a crown with “HRH” on the swan's tail, a reference to the Crown's traditional association with England's swans.

Carved in 2006 and released June 26, 2006, Sarasvati was made in England as a particularly small Fixed Edition of just 500 pieces. It reached stores October 1, 2006 as part of the Small Treasure Jest subset.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Sarasvati. It comes directly from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK57.

It is one of the 10 Archive examples of TJHDSW acquired by AtopTheTables. This piece remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
