Harmony Kingdom Quiet Waters TJLDU2 Tufted Duck Box Figurine Retired

Quiet Waters is one of Peter Calvesbert's earliest Harmony Kingdom designs, carved in 1990 and released in October of that year. The large Treasure Jest depicts a tufted duck and predates several details that later became familiar signatures of Calvesbert's work, including the hidden mouse and Harmony Kingdom hallmarks.

The design also evolved during its production. According to Harmony Kingdom, the earliest examples were made without an interior egg and carried the inscription “ZOE” beneath the tail. When the egg was subsequently added to the interior, the ZOE inscription was replaced by the HBC logo. Quiet Waters remained in production until September 1999, with a final edition of 3,518 pieces.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Quiet Waters. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK121.

The Archive inventory acquired by AtopTheTables contains 20 examples of TJLDU2. Two of those examples were not included in the original manifested quantity and were discovered during physical check-in of the Archive inventory.
