Harmony Kingdom Poppy Lord Byron Istanbul Mosque HG4PO Archive

Poppy sends Lord Byron on a spiritual journey to Istanbul. In Harmony Kingdom’s characteristically playful language, he catches a “scarobvan” to the Poppy mosque as his travels carry him into another corner of the miniature Harmony Garden world.

The company story describes Byron approaching TarrantAllah while reciting the sacred text of the Koran. The scene mixes wordplay, travel and spiritual imagery in the surreal narrative style used throughout Lord Byron’s adventures.

Created by Monique Baldwin, Poppy was carved in 1999 and released January 1, 2000. It was produced in China as part of Chapter IV of Lord Byron’s Harmony Garden and retired November 5, 2001, with an edition of 7,629.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Poppy. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK133.

It is one of 1 Archive example of HG4PO acquired by AtopTheTables. This piece remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
