Harmony Kingdom Play School TJFI2 Fish Peter Calvesbert Archive

Play School gathers a lively school of fish into one of Peter Calvesbert's early Small Treasure Jests. The aquatic crowd includes his recurring tin-can detail, while the signature mouse peeks out above the base beside the conger eel.

Unlike many later Treasure Jests, the official company entry records no inner carving or inscriptions for this piece. Inside is the HBC logo, making the exterior cast of fish the principal focus of the design.

Carved in 1994 and released September 1, 1994, Play School was made in England. Its edition reached 15,753 pieces before retirement on April 1, 1998.
