Harmony Kingdom Peony HGPE Martin Perry Studios Harmony Garden Archive

Peony, created by Martin Perry Studios, is part of Chapter II of Lord Byron's Harmony Garden. Queen Bee invites Lord Byron to high tea in the Peony Palace, where the traveling ladybug is ceremonially “beeknighted.”

The playful royal scene transforms the peony exterior into one of the miniature destinations that give Lord Byron's Harmony Garden its continuing narrative.

Carved in 1997, Peony was made in China and released January 1, 1998. It retired April 15, 2004 with a final edition size of 13,451.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Peony. It comes directly from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK129.

The Archive group includes 12 examples being offered by AtopTheTables. These pieces remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
