Harmony Kingdom Pell Mell 4 Pelicans & Their Young RW99PE Archive

David Lawrence’s Pell Mell was the exclusive Royal Watch Collector’s Club redemption piece for 1999. The box figurine gathers four pelicans feeding their young, turning the birds’ famously oversized bills and communal activity into a densely detailed sculptural grouping.

Running around the base is the familiar line “A wonderful bird is the Pelican,” a playful literary reference perfectly suited to Lawrence’s subject. The interior continues the maritime theme with a carved anchor.

The piece carries the expected Harmony Kingdom hallmarks, including the copyright symbol, star, HBC logo, edition number and David Lawrence’s initials. It was produced in an edition size of 7,470, and these Archive examples were retained in former Harmony Kingdom company inventory until the Archive dispersal.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Pell Mell. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK61.

It is one of 5 examples of RW99PE documented in the Archive inventory acquired by AtopTheTables. These pieces remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
