Harmony Kingdom Oktobearfest TJEVBE97 1997 Event Box Figurine Archive

Oktobearfest was created for Harmony Kingdom's first annual in-store event and was available through select retailers during the autumn of 1997. Peter Calvesbert filled the small box figurine with playful bears gathered around a tree stump, but tucked some very personal history into the design as well.

The stump is inscribed with the Calvesbert family tree. The markings “JC,” “MAR,” and “1816” refer to John Calvesbert and Mary Ann Rudland, who were married on Christmas Day in 1816. Hidden inside the box is another personal touch: a South African 10 cent coin commemorating Peter's honeymoon.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Oktobearfest. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK65.

It is one of the examples of TJEVBE97 documented in the Archive lot acquired by AtopTheTables. Archive Lot HK65 contained Harmony Kingdom event pieces and other special-release figurines retained in company warehouse storage until the Archive was dispersed.
