Harmony Kingdom Of The Same Stripe Tigers TJTI Treasure Jest Archive

Peter Calvesbert's Of The Same Stripe occupies an interesting place among the early Small Treasure Jests: it was the first mother-and-baby box figurine in the series. The pairing gives the piece a familial subject that stands apart from many of the individual animal characters found among the earliest Treasure Jests.

Its early date is also evident in what it does not contain. Like many of Calvesbert's earliest pieces, Of The Same Stripe has no hidden mouse, inscriptions, inner carving or hallmarks—the playful secret details that would become increasingly familiar to Harmony Kingdom collectors in later years.

Carved in 1993 and released September 1, 1993, Of The Same Stripe was made in England as a Small Treasure Jest. It remained in production until January 5, 2001 and reached an edition size of 38,218.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Of The Same Stripe. It comes directly from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK121.

It is the Archive example of TJTI acquired in this group by AtopTheTables and remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.

Condition

The figurine remains in excellent archive-kept condition. No chips or damage are visible. There is a hole that can be seen when the lid is removed at the edge. It does appear to be in the manufacturing process. Please see provided photo.
