Morning Glory opens onto one of Lord Byron’s more awkward social encounters in Harmony Garden. He approaches the front door of the flower, only to have the lady of the house mistake the well-traveled bug for a door-to-door salesbug.

The scene is a compact example of the playful storytelling that runs through Lord Byron’s Harmony Garden, where flowers become buildings and the miniature insect world carries on a surprisingly human social life.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Morning Glory. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK129.

It is one of 12 examples of HGMG documented in the Archive inventory acquired by AtopTheTables. These pieces remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
