Harmony Kingdom Journey Home TJLFI Large Treasure Jest Fish Archive 1991

Peter Calvesbert’s Journey Home is an early Large Treasure Jest featuring a trio of wonderfully sculpted fish. Carved and released in 1991, it comes from the formative period of Harmony Kingdom and was produced in an edition of 7,011 pieces.

Because Journey Home predates many of the playful conventions that later became signatures of Peter Calvesbert’s work, this early design does not incorporate a hidden mouse, interior carving, inscriptions or the later hallmarks. The HBC logo was added to the piece in 1996, making production details particularly interesting on examples from its long release period.

From the Harmony Kingdom Archives

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Journey Home. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK121.

It is one of 16 examples of TJLFI Journey Home currently documented in the Archive inventory acquired by AtopTheTables. Interestingly, the original auction manifest listed 12 examples, while four additional Journey Home pieces were subsequently discovered within the Archive inventory.

These pieces remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.

Condition

The figurine remains in excellent archive-kept condition. No chips or damage are visible. The original packaging may show minor storage or handling wear consistent with its age and years in the Harmony Kingdom Archives.
