Harmony Kingdom Jajka TJDLDU David Lawrence Small Treasure Jest Archive

David Lawrence’s Jajka is a 2004 Small Treasure Jest featuring three ducklings hatching from a basket of brightly decorated Easter eggs. The piece was carved in 2003, released January 5, 2004, and reached stores March 1, 2004 as a Fixed Edition of 2,500.

The design nods to the Polish and Ukrainian tradition of elaborately decorated eggs known as pisanki. Inside is a cuckoo, an English harbinger of spring. Lawrence’s signature acorn appears on an egg in the basket, while the number 122 identifies Jajka as his 122nd carving for Harmony Kingdom.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Jajka. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK55.
