Harmony Kingdom Iris II Lord Byron Picnic Memorial HG5IR Archive

Traveling northward, Lord Byron pauses in the Mid-Atlantic states to visit important historical landmarks. His stop at the Iris memorial soon becomes less solemn when he spreads out a blanket and gives himself over to the pleasures of a picnic.

The feast includes enormous chocolate cupcakes, bringing the familiar Harmony Garden combination of travel, history and whimsical scale to the scene. Even a landmark visit becomes another opportunity for Byron to enjoy the world around him.

Created by Sherman Drackett, Iris II was carved in 2000 and released December 15, 2000. It was produced in China for Chapter V of Lord Byron’s Harmony Garden, retired December 15, 2005, and has an edition size of 5,040.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Iris II. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK133.

It is one of 15 Archive examples of HG5IR acquired by AtopTheTables. These pieces remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
