Harmony Kingdom Forty Winks TJHE Hefgehog Treasure Jest Peter Calvesbert Archive

Forty Winks, created by Peter Calvesbert, is the first small box figurine carved by the artist and depicts a sleepy hedgehog resting on its back.

Because it is such an early piece, it predates the hidden mouse, inner carving, inscriptions and hallmarks that later became familiar signatures of Peter's Harmony Kingdom work.

Carved in 1992, Forty Winks was made in England and released March 1, 1992. It retired December 1, 1996 with an edition size of 5,385.
