Harmony Kingdom Dior TJDLMI3 David Lawrence Mouse Archive

Inspired by the mice of Gloucester, David Lawrence imagined the mouse in Dior preparing to begin a grand sartorial creation. The spool is prominently marked “Manufactured in the UK,” a nod to Britain's tradition of producing fine thread and needles.

The loop of thread forms Lawrence's signature acorn. Inside, a camel contemplates how to pass through the eye of the needle in a playful Biblical reference, while “103” beside the hallmarks identifies Dior as the 103rd piece Lawrence carved for Harmony Kingdom.

Carved in 2002 and released December 31, 2002, Dior was made in England as a Fixed Edition of 5,000 pieces, divided into 2,500 Version One and 2,500 Version Two examples worldwide. It reached stores March 1, 2003 as part of the Small Treasure Jest subset. The Archive check-in record does not designate these examples by version, so no version is claimed in this listing.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Dior. It comes directly from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK55.

It is one of the 10 Archive examples of TJDLMI3 acquired by AtopTheTables. This piece remained in former Harmony Kingdom company storage until the Archive was dispersed.
