Peter Calvesbert turned the hamster’s famous habit of stuffing its cheeks into the comic premise for Choked Up: a group of hamsters performing the Heimlich maneuver on one of their own. The result is a characteristically witty Harmony Kingdom scene built around an everyday bit of animal behavior.
The lid is inscribed with five popular hamster breeds: Syrian, Campbell, Chinese dwarf, Roborovski and Russian. Calvesbert’s familiar hidden mouse deliberately does not appear in this design, keeping the focus on the frantic hamster rescue.
Carved in 2011 and released February 13, 2012, Choked Up was made in England as a particularly small Fixed Edition of just 200 pieces. It reached stores March 1, 2012 as part of the Small Treasure Jest subset.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Choked Up. It comes directly from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK134.
