Harmony Kingdom Catchers in the Rye TJMI Version 2 LE 2500 Archive

Catchers in the Rye is Peter Calvesbert's miniature English summer scene, with harvest mice gathered among the vegetation. A blackberry appears because it was one of his son Sam Calvesbert's favorite foods.

The design was produced in two distinct versions. Version One includes another mouse peering from the interior; Version Two replaces one of the exterior mice with a snake. The Archive examples represented by this listing are documented in the physical check-in record as Version Two, with the snake replacing the mouse.

Carved in 2002 and released December 31, 2002, the piece reached stores March 1, 2003. The fixed edition comprised 5,000 pieces worldwide, divided evenly between 2,500 Version One and 2,500 Version Two examples.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Catchers in the Rye. It comes from former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK134.
