Harmony Kingdom Carnation Lord Byron Southwest Parade HG5CA Archive

After staying up all night, Lord Byron is too tired to fly and heads for the bus station. A favorite song about going where the sun keeps shining persuades him to take a southerly route, carrying his travels into the American Southwest.

There he encounters a parade of carnation-covered floats and spots a mysterious, beautiful bug in the crowd. Deciding that image is everything in America, Byron puts on his best bow tie and buys a corsage to impress her, only for the object of his attention to disappear into the crowd.

Created by Sherman Drackett, Carnation was carved in 2000 and released December 15, 2000. It was produced in China for Chapter V of Lord Byron’s Harmony Garden and retired October 15, 2004.

This example has a documented history that distinguishes it from an ordinary secondary-market Carnation. It comes directly from the former Harmony Kingdom Archives inventory dispersed at auction in August 2026 and was acquired by AtopTheTables from Archive Lot HK133.
