Chinese Blue & White Hexagonal Porcelain Ginger Jar / Tea Caddy with Lid – 8.5 Inches

Beautiful blue-and-white porcelain ginger jar or tea caddy featuring a distinctive six-sided body and matching cylindrical lid. Decorated in the traditional Chinese style, this attractive piece combines detailed scenic panels with floral, bird, and ornamental designs in rich cobalt blue against a creamy white porcelain background.

The hexagonal body features alternating decorative scenes, including figures in traditional dress, architectural elements, birds perched among flowering trees, and intricate geometric borders. The shoulder is embellished with additional auspicious-style decorative motifs, while the removable lid displays blue floral designs on both its top and sides.

Standing approximately 8½ inches tall, this handsome jar makes a wonderful decorative accent for a mantel, bookshelf, console, or tabletop. Its traditional blue-and-white palette complements Chinoiserie, Asian-inspired, Grandmillennial, and classic interiors.

Very good pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks, or noticeable crazing are apparent.
