German Porcelain Reticulated Trinket or Candy Dish
A charming antique German porcelain dish, beautifully detailed with an 18th-century pastoral scene of a Victorian-era couple in a garden or farming landscape, surrounded by sheep. The oval bowl features an intricately reticulated (pierced) rim, dual handles, and hand-applied gilt accents along the edge and inner border. The underside bears a “Germany 225” mark, suggesting early-20th-century export manufacture.
An elegant decorative accent suitable for display or use as a trinket, candy, or vanity dish—a fine example of German porcelain artistry.
