Angels gamble over the outcome of the year 2000 while guarding a silver seed representing nature's genetic future. Elsewhere are references to consumption, pollution, cloning, humanity's relationship with nature, and even the infamous Millennium Bug. Lord Byron creates an ecosystem in the stern, a scientist becomes the unlikely parent of a dinosaur, and Dolly the cloned sheep enjoys a private moment with \u003cem\u003eThe Financial Times\u003c\/em\u003e.
